Tips for getting to your Rotorua zipline experience

  • Check your meeting point: The experience starts beside Okere Falls Cafe, not in central Rotorua. Double-check your booking details before leaving.
  • Arrive 15 minutes early: Check-in is required before your experience, so arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.
  • Allow extra travel time: The drive from Rotorua city takes around 20 minutes, but traffic, parking, and unfamiliar roads can add time.

  • Plan your return: If you're using a taxi or rideshare, arrange your return journey ahead of time rather than relying on finding a vehicle immediately after your experience.
  • Dress for the weather: The experience operates in rain or shine. Wet- and cold-weather clothing is provided, but you should wear comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes.
  • Leave enough time between activities: If you're travelling from another Rotorua attraction, avoid scheduling another timed activity immediately after ziplining. The experience itself lasts around 2 hours, excluding travel.
